Burning Japan 2021

Hello burners!

Burning Japan is happening this summer.
It’s been about 1.5 years since we had to cancel the event for the big typhoon in 2019. Burning man in the states and other regional burns were cancelled in 2020. This year, there are a few regional burns coming back with COVID-19 measures. As a regional burn in Japan, Burning Japan is coming back in a new form!

In 2021, Burning Japan will be held as small as about 100 participants for those who reside in Japan. Yugawara Onsen campground is a new site opened in 2020 and close to JR station. It is going to be easier to access and less survivalus when compared to the last location which was a remote field up in the mountains. But we are expecting more energy to be poured into art and gifting.

Ticket sales will start by the end of May. We are preparing pre-sale for 2019 ticket holders with a discount. We are looking forward to seeing you in Sky Island.

WHEN： July 22 – 25, 4 day weekend.
WHERE: Yugawara Onsen Campground, Kanagawa
ACCESS: 10 minutes drive from JR Yugawara station, Tokaido line.
